Gearing up for the "Greatest Depression."

I tell you what, this is going to be one hell of a ride come January and following for the next year or so after that. We are about to have a President, inheriting an economy that is completely in the toilet, a war on terror that is not winnable ever because terrorists will never cease to exist, and the amount of executive power given to the President that put us into the previously said conditions. He will have complete control over our privacy, our safety and our economy. He will be able to appoint his own cronies into the White House, and manipulate the system to make it completely his own way of doing things. And the President is going to be Senator Barrack Obama. I know the McCain hooligans are trying to smear Obama to the point of no return but the papers are already writing the stories for the front pages on November 5. It is fairly evident that if Obama does not win in 2 weeks that the election is rigged. I hate to say it, but Obama refusing to follow his word and take the public money, won this election for him. This is a proud moment in American History, that the United States of America has finally elected a "minority" to the office of the President. The reason I say "minority" is because I believe that there are no such things as minorities in this country. I believe you are either an American or not an American, no in between. There is no such thing as an African-American, Chinese-American, Japanese-American, Filipino-American, Cuban-American, Mexican-American, or any other Minority-American. If you are an American you are given the same rights as any other person in this country, if you are not then you get the right to obey the laws and rules that we set or go back to country you are a citizen of. Anyway, as I said we as Americans are showing that race is no longer a largely dividing issue that people take into consideration when making monumental decision such as the presidency of your country. But it is a bad decision they are making. This president is going to take the economy that has been tattered and torn by GWB and is going to put the final bullet in it's head. He is going to raise taxes on anyone and everyone making more that $250,000/year. I don't know if he knows this but the companies and corporations that make that kind of money are the ones providing the vast majority of income to Americans. Raising their taxes will in turn lower the amount of money they will pay their employee's by either cutting wages, or cutting jobs, the latter being the worst circumstance. They are not just going to take the raised taxes in stride and continue to give out pay raises because they are nice employers and care about their employees. No, they are going to worry about the only thing they ever worry about, the bottom line and the share holders. This in turn is going to make two horrible things happen, lower average wages and higher unemployment. This means people will be making less money, which means people will be buying less, which means companies will be making less, which means they make less money and it is going spiral downward until it grinds itself into the ground. This also means that all the money people have invested in these companies, trying to improve their wealth through other peoples successes will be lost. Retirement will no longer be an option and the hunky-dory feeling that Americans have had over the last 30 years or so will be gone completely and we will go back to the 1930's as far as feelings about the country and government. This I can see is going to happen but at least I know that the faster it happens, the faster we will be able to get it over with and get back to the basics. I hope America is happy with the decision they are about to make. I just wish that the American people would actually think about the issues and educate themselves about the issues before they just went and voted after only listening to biased media, sound bites, and headlines. Congratulations America, you are bringing it upon yourself.

Now don't think just because I wrote this I am a McCain supporter, which I am definitely not, because he would cause the same outcome. The only thing that would happen with McCain is it would just take a couple more years to completely bottom out. But I will leave that for another post, only if he, and his thugs, rigs the election and wins.

We're on the rebound!!!

I heard one of the most rediculous things I have ever heard yesterday. I was watching CNBC and the status of the stock market and the announcer said, "The economy is on the rebound due to the governments rescue package." I don't know if he realizes that the "economy" is not just Wall Street. The economy is your neighbor, yourself and me. I don't think your neighbor is being helped by anything the government did in the "rescue" package. I also don't think you or I are being helped, or our accounts payable to recievable ratio is being helped any. Wages are stagnant, prices are higher for everything, and unemployment is going up. Yeah it really sounds like "the economy is on the rebound." These people just don't understand that what happens on Wall Street only really helps the top 10% of Americans. Yeah it is most of America's retirement and the only hope that we have that we can stop making the rich richer and finally enjoying life, but if it were to completely crash, it would not effect our bank accounts. This tells me that if the economic advisors on the television are directly linking the economy to the stock market, then we have a real problem with perception. We are in a recession. Unemployment has been going up for the past 3 quarters, GDP has gone down for the past 4 quarters and inports have gone up every quarter for the past 3 years. If that is not a recession I don't know what is, yet the stock market has only been going down drastically for the past couple of weeks. The GOP and all of their crooneys have been saying for a whole year now that the economy isn't in a recession because unemployment is in single digits, and production is going up, but now that Wall Street has crashed they are in a panic to throw blame around as to how we got into this predicament and how it is all the democrats fault. The Democrats have been saying the economy is in really bad shape and it is going to go down, but they didn't do anything about it and now they are blaming the republicans because they had control of the Congress and the White House for the 6 years before they got control. Well I have news for both of them, it is both of their faults and that is why I will not vote for either of them to go back into their jobs. I think that the Government of our great country has completely forgotten who they work for. I do believe that they are there to pass laws that we want, to raise money for causes we want, and to make sure that noone there does the things we don't want. The 700 billion dollar bailout was one of those things we didn't want and it was done, way to listen to our voice. I have to say that a 10 trillion dollar deficit that is split up to the 300 million American's means that each and every man, woman and child in America, owes people all over the world, $33,333.33 each. That is more than about 50% of American's make per year. I have never had a job where I would make that in a year. There aren't very many people who would be able to afford to pay this amount off and still be able to live. If you wanted to pay off your part of the debt you would have to donate $91.32 every day to the US Government. To break that up into hours would be $3.81, and that means more than 6 cents per minute. It would also mean that if you were to be working a 40 hour week you would have to make just over $16/hr and give all of up in taxes. Yeah!!! I sure am glad that with all of this information staring me in the face, the guy on TV told me the economy was on the rebound because I was starting to think pessimistically. PHEW! Well, I guess I don't know as much as they do.

700 billion dollars that would have actually helped.

As you may know, the United States Senate, last week, passed a Economic Rescue Package that went to loan lenders. Loan lenders such as banks, mortgage companies and even insurance companies. This is intended to increase liquidity in the economy and increase lending and spending. Once the lending and spending increase, inherently the economy goes positive. This was also the intention of the stimulus program earlier this year. Give people a rebate from their taxes and have them spend money and the economy will turn around. I have a better idea. Give the 700 billion dollars to the people. The low people, the majority of the people. 700 billion dollars in 1 year would pay 20 million people $35,000.00. I don't know if you can do the math on this, but 20 million people is 6.6% of the American public. The unemployment rate is about 7%. Hmmmmm, if we really want to increase the economy, we want to increase spending. If we increase lending then we are increasing debt. We are in an economic downturn because people have been taking loans that they can't pay for. So we think $700 billion is the answer, so how should we spread this money out. I've got it, give it to the bankers so the people can take out more loans they can't pay for. Yes, I'm a genius. We saw this same type of thing happen in the 30's. The government can take their money and make government jobs. I've heard that the country has some major infrastructure problems. How about creating jobs to fix the infrastructure. This will create a lot of money flow into the market, sell a lot of houses, and if you use American Made Material (AMM) then you will create thousands of more jobs and this then makes over 20 million more tax payers and billions more in tax revenue. Build highways and bridges with AMM, build more power plants with AMM, reinforce the American power grid with AMM, and we could even employ government workers to build refineries and sell them to the oil companies using AMM. The government could even hire researchers, 100's of thousands of researchers and engineers for developing new green energy. I know what you are thinking, this guy is crazy, this would never work, but it did once upon a time when the economy did the exact thing it is doing now. Lack of liquidity, running on banks, and government influence on the market. I guess I am just to simple of a thinker.

So what.

I know what some people might think about my previous blog entries. Some people would say, "if you don't like the way our government runs the country, then you should leave." I have to say, I love this country. I hate our government running our everyday lives. I believe what Benjamin Franklin said, "We created a Republic, if you can keep it." A republic means that is is a government "run by all," not a democracy "run by the majority." A good example of the difference was in a video I watched which said if 35 men in a lynch mob chased down a lone gunman and when they caught him they voted 35 to 1 that to hang him. The lone gunman is hung and the democracy is successful, ruled by a majority. In a republic the same thing happens but the Sherrif shows up as they are about hang the lone gunman and says, "The law requires that he must be taken back to town because he has the right to a trial." He then goes to trial and can not be sentenced to death even by a majority, but by a concensus of the jury, it must be unanimous. "Ruled by all," if that was not the intention, our law system would not be set up in this manner. When the "elected officials" in Washington, take the economy into their own hands, that takes the power away from the people. This makes an Oligarchy, government ran by a few. This is the same type of government as dictators have. Sure they have ultimate power, but they also have their advisors, and their secretaries of things, so they have a few people that make all the decisions. You can beg and plead to them to do what is best for the people, but if they don't think it is in their best interest, then they don't do it. Over 60 percent of American's were against the bailout package that was passed by the Congress. America begged and pleaded to their Senator's and Represenative's to not pass it, but because the special interests in their pockets want more government money, they decided that it wasn't in their best interest. What is the difference between them and the Castro's? The only way to keep them from taking control of the country from the people is to limit their power. The law is supposed to limit their power, but the inherent problem is they right the laws, that limit their own power. They also vote on the fact if they should get pay raises. They also vote on their own retirement packages and health care coverage. If we were really in control they wouldn't be in control of their own fate, we would be in control of theirs. Should they be able to set their term limits, or should that be up to the people? Should they be able to give themselves raises every year, or should they leave that up to us? Should they give themselves free healthcare coverage if we can't get it for ourselves? It sounds like the republic is falling apart. I hope to God that the American people realize what they are doing. If we don't stop doing this we will be run by just the people we don't want to be.

If you think I make sense then you would probably like Bob Barr for the same reasons I do. He is the onlly candidate who is actually telling you what he thinks.

Now back to the market.

Once again, the government is going after this economic disaster we are facing. Today the Federal Reserve, the people in charge of making, baking, and selling our money, dropped the key interest rate by .5%. That means today it is 25% easier to borrow money from the United States monetary system than it was yesterday, interest fell from 2% to 1.5%. I may sound like a raving lunatic, but with interest rates as low as that, then people will be borrowing money and that means the government will be printing more money, which means each dollar will be worth less, which means people will need to borrow more money to do the things they thought they would have had enough for, and the cycle continues. This doesn't sound like a good resolution to our problem. I bet I could think of a way to get us out of the conundrum. Let the economy go into a depression. Let the unemployment numbers go up to 25%. Let us all remember what it was like before iPods, or laptops, or even Nintendo. Let the economy go down so that way we can reinstate what made the United States such a booming economy in the first place. Let American innovation rejuvenate the economy. Let all the big business fail. Let them all wither up and blow away. If they a good enough to weather the storm then they deserve the money they get. Let us all get back to the basics that makes the United States such a wonderful place to live. The fact that anyone can make something out of next to nothing instead of having to ask permission from the oligarchy. So my message is to get government out of the way, and let us run the market. We know how to do it better than you, besides we do pay your paycheck.

If you agree with the majority of what I have written then you should really check out this website. http://www.bobbarr2008.com/

Once again, dumb debate.

I am confused. I watched the debate and thought that I was going to here something with sustenance. I only heard them saying the same thing over and over again. I listened intently and was looking for something to give me hope that either of them would actually do a good job as president. I was sadly dissappointed. All I heard was, 'He voted 1 million times against you and I voted 5 million times to help you. My budget plan will cut your taxes by 100% and we will increase the amount that we will return to you and blah blah blah blah blah.' I love it when they tell you all of these things in the running for the election, and as soon as they are president, they do nothing. It's the "No New Taxes" BS all over again. Neither of them are going to cut my taxes, or anyone else who might read this. They are both going to increase taxes. They are both going to increase our naitonal deficit. Neither of them even ever said that they were going to at least strive for a balanced budget. Why would you not even try to lie about getting a balanced budget. I know it is possible. Bill Clinton had a balanced budget, and before he was out he had a surplus. As soon as G.W.B. came in, it was gone.

I have to say that I am like the majority of America, the economy is my #1 concern. However, my concern is completely different than the concern of the two major candidates. I have a more Libertarian policy as far as the economy goes. Government stays out of the markets. The people run the market the way they see fit. If greed gets in the way, the businesses make risky bets and fail, and the government allows it. The government doesn't step in and help the company to their feet and dust their shoulders off. People lose their jobs, but the competition gains and makes more jobs. Do you realize how much of a loss it would be, to our economy, if Walmart were to go bankrupt? They are one of the largest employers in the United States. If all of a sudden they were talking about filing a chapter 11 and closing all of their stores, under the current administration and congress, the government would jump in and give them a couple of billion dollars to keep their doors open. They already get thousands of my dollars every year out of my paycheck. I don't think they should be allowed to get thousands more for bad management and risky investments. But that is what is happening with the banks. And both of the nominees in this popularity contest support giving them everything they might want. They both also supported the extra $150 billion so that way we could get the congress to "help us." If it was such a sure fire way to help the economy, and end this economic disaster, you would think that you wouldn't have to add on $150 billion dollars in "goodies." I just want to put into perspective how much $850 billion is, $850,000,000,000, that is $850,000 million, or 85 times larger than the largest number you can put into your standard 10 digit calculator. We are about to have a $10 TRILLION deficit. And with bills like this, you would wonder why.

I am so dissapointed with the American people in their idiotic selections for the office of THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Do they not realize that it should be someone who they believe can be the LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD? Do they not realize that this isn't just a popularity contest? Do they not realize that if they just vote for someone who says, "I believe in change," or, "I put country first," and they never say what they are going to do, that means they have no plans? Do they not realize that if we continue to vote the way we have that we are going to end up being like France, Spain, Germany, and England, a "FORMER World Power?" I just don't understand I guess.

What I do understand, is if someone really does eant chang, or someone who is putting country frst then they should vote for Bob Barr.

The Bailout

Yesterday, the United States Senate passed the , what I like to call, "No Banker Left Behind" bill. I hate to say that the most rediculous thing isn't the fact that the government is giving Wall Street more money that 99 percent of America will ever see, it is the things they had to add to get the "public servants" to vote for it. "Provisions related to film and television productions," "Income averaging for amounts received in connection with the ExxonValdez litigation," and "Exemption from excise tax for certain wooden arrows designed for use by children," don't sound like they have anything to do with the "economic rescue plan." Things like that make me furious. Why is it that these idiots can't just vote on one matter. Why do you take something as important as the economy and throw in things like child wooden arrow makers tax exemptions. I realize that not everybody liked the bailout, me included, but how many votes did they win over by adding in provisions for movie makers.

Now to the money issue. I don't know if people realize what this bill is going to do. A snippet of the wording of this bill says:

"The Secretary is authorized to take such actions as the Secretary deems necessary to carry out the authorities in this Act, including, without limitation, the following:
(1) The Secretary shall have direct hiring authority with respect to the appointment of employees to administer this Act.
(2) Entering into contracts, including contracts for services authorized by section 3109 of title 5, United States Code.
(3) Designating financial institutions as financial agents of the Federal Government, and such institutions shall perform all such reasonable duties related to this Act as financial agents of the Federal Government as may be required.
(4) In order to provide the Secretary with the flexibility to manage troubled assets in a manner designed to minimize cost to the taxpayers, establishing vehicles that are authorized, subject to supervision by the Secretary, to purchase, hold, and sell
troubled assets and issue obligations.
(5) Issuing such regulations and other guidance as may be necessary or appropriate to define terms or carry out the authorities or purposes of this Act."

This sounds a lot like the bill that the Senate and House passed to give G.W.B. full reigns to the military in Iraq. Yeah sure we have given the President the most executive power ever and we are giving his Secretary of Treasury complete control over our economy. So lets just give the next President the complete and total control over the entire country. I worked with a guy, Gary, not that long ago that said that if you slowly give more and more power to the President, there is nothing to keep them from pulling a Hitler. I think that if these people continually give more and more power to the executive branch and its goons, that we will end up being run by someone who does not have the best intentions of our country in mind. The only thing that is keeping us from being run by a Hitler, is "The right to a well maintained and well regulated militia." Now we are also about to elect someone to the presidency that is probably going to try to limit or eliminate the types of arms we would need. I do have hope though. Like I said previously, the Congress and the next President over the next 4 years will more than likely do a worse job than the "guy I'd like to have a beer with" did over the last 8, and everyone will finally get their heads out of their asses and realize that the more you injunct the government into the market the more it gets screwed up. Fannie and Freddie are prime examples. That is why I am voting for Bob Barr, because he is the only person running that understands that the government can't fix these problems.

This is the first.

I must say that I have had so much emotion building up in me since the presidential nominees for the two major parties were selected. I have been so angry that everyone looks at these two idiots and think that either of them are fit to lead our country.

First you have Senator Obama. This man thinks that taxing the hell out of the people just so he can turn around and give it to the really poor people is a good idea. Who the hell does he think he is, fucking Robin Hood? He is friends with his preacher of 20 years, who says "God Damn America," and "preaches" that the US Government made the AIDS virus so that way they could hold the black man down. He also claims that minorities have been held down and they deserve something in return for the hardships they were put through. OK now don't get me wrong, slavery was a bad thing, the white guys thought that they could own the black people because they were better than them. I think that the slaves were put through a horrible ordeal and they deserved something in return for the hardships they were put through. Then there was 'forced' segregation. the "colors" where not allowed into the places where "whites" where allowed. they had a tough time and maybe something for them. But the last time I checked, there is nothing keeping the Blacks, Latinos, Japanese, Chinese, Koreans, or women from the same schools, scholarships, colleges, programs, degrees, jobs, promotions, or lifestyles except for themselves. They say that inner city minority children are not getting the education they deserve. I have one thing to say about that, "GO TO THE LIBRARY." It's free. It's in every "inner city." In fact the inner city libraries are way bigger and better stocked than the libraries you will find in the "outer city." OK back to politics. I can spend all day on Senator Obama, but I just have to say that he should not be able to say that minorities are being held down any longer because HE IS RUNNING FOR THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Case closed.

Now to Senator McCain. :chuckles: Where do I begin. The man claims he is an American Hero because he was in the NAVY got into a lot of trouble while training to be a pilot, became a pilot and crashed a plane and then was shot down and was imprisoned for years and made it out alive. Well guess what. I am then also an American Hero. I went into the NAVY right out of High School and got into a lot of trouble, then went to Iraq, then got into more trouble and got a OTH discharge, and made it out alive. I also really hate his stupid ass adds saying shit like the country is in shambles, who should you blame, Barrack Obama. OK he has been a Senator for like 15 minutes. You have been a Senator for like 1,000 years. Who should you blame? Next, he tries to cram it down Americas throat that Obama doesn't have the experience to be the president, while his Vice is younger, and was the Mayor of a city the size of my underwear, and the governor of a State that has more land than any other state but less people than South Dakota. Plus she has only been the Governor for as long as Obama has been a Senator. He's going to die any day now and she will be the President if he wins.

I am so tired of these two idiots I want to leave the country. I do have hope though. I really am looking forward to the fact that which ever one of these dumb asses becomes the president, they will get in there and run this country into the ground. I hate to say it, but both of them are headed in the same direction as the dreaded G.W.B. Neither one of them are going to bring any "CHANGE." So start getting your canned goods now, while you can still afford them, start learning how to bake your own bread and plant your yard with wheat and rice, because we are on our way to a rough 4 years. Then when they are done, hopefully the politicians or the American people will get their heads out of their asses and demand things be done the right way.

I am voting for Bob Barr.
